Tis The Season.

It’s that time of year again. People are baking and shopping for their friends and family. It’s a busy time in the shop, decorating and helping people to get started on their Christmas projects whether it be socks, hats, mitts, scarves, and sweaters.
The Red Scarf Project is back again this year. The Aids Society of Durham have organized this project. We have lots of volunteers knitting and crocheting scarves in Red yarn. Wool on William supplies the red yarn at an affordable price. These scarves have to be finished by November 24, 2017. You can hand them in here at Wool on William or at the office of the Aids Society of Durham on King St. above the Coffee Culture.
Tonight is the Santa Claus Parade in Oshawa. Tomorrow is the Toronto Parade! Then everything begins. The Christmas rush!
I love this season. It’s a Happy time. We can forget about all the stress in the world and focus on Christmas.
My Boys will be on their second musical tour in the early part of December. Then home to celebrate Christmas. I’m a proud Mom.
So take a breath and don’t panic. Take some time to put your feet up and work on a craft. That’s what I do when I leave the shop.
Enjoy the season. Be safe and Happy Knitting!

I think you love the holidays as much as I do! The Sunday after Christmas our town has a Festival of Lights Parade and I cannot wait to see what my 4 month old grandson thinks of it all! Such a lovely time of year and it’s important to have downtime. Knitting is the best for that!

      Hi Kristen,
Yes, I’m never bored. I think knitting, crocheting, needlepoint, cross stitch, quilting and any craft that puts in another world is awesome! I also love to paint, which I have put on hold as I’m too busy with my shop and knitting. Some day I will start again.
      Have a Happy Thanksgiving!
