Happy New Year!

The New Year is upon us. Did you survive Christmas and New Years?

Time to focus on our Craft projects for the coming year.  I’m busy knitting many projects. Finishing up old ones before moving on to newer projects. Owning a yarn shop can be daunting, as there are so many new yarns and patterns arriving in my shop and I want to knit them all.

Old is New again. I have notice what is old is new again in patterns. Beautiful car coats and sweaters, shawls and vests are back.

Comfortable clothes, knit in beautiful alpacas, mohair, cashmere, merino and silk yarns. There is a quote from someone who knits. “Every woman should have shawl in their wardrobe”.  Unknown.

I have one shawl which is on display in my shop. Knit in Sweet Georgia Worsted Weight Merino yarn. Beautiful Saffron colour.

So relax. Start the New Year knitting, crocheting, rug hooking, tatting, cross stitching, needlepoint and Swedish weaving. These are a few  crafts on my list. Begin something new!

Happy New Year Everyone!
